Send Help. And Snacks Too!

Every month, a woman is reminded that she's a woman—and she's not pregnant— through bleeding and pain.

Excruciating pain that only cravings—and sometimes medicine—help subside.

I'll never understand it. Why does bleeding have to be the only way?

Interestingly, every woman has learnt to live with it and carry the pain that comes with it every month. We've done that much. But what we'll not accept is being mocked, ridiculed or looked down on because of this.

If you're not going to love us for it, don't hate us either!

Save whatever opinions that come to your mind when you see a young girl stained or doubled over in pain from something she might be too embarrassed to name.

I once came across a video where a guy called menstruation a "hormonal disorder."
Seriously?
We go through this torture monthly, and somehow we're still the ones labeled emotionally unstable too?
Send help.

And some snacks too—chocolate flavored, by the way. It’s the best medicine for most girls during that time of the month.

Ugh! We bleed, not break. Respect that— and pass the chocolate, abeg!
